Who we are
Jetpacked is the trade name of Karel Barend Flink, registered as a sole trader in Portugal, and acts as the data controller for personal data processed on this website. If you have any questions about this policy, please email barrie@jetpacked.io.
What data we collect
Through the newsletter on our website: first name, last name, email address, and language preference (Dutch or English).
Through the contact form: the information you provide yourself to get in touch with us.
Through your visit to our website: see "Website tracking" below.
Why we collect this data
We use your data to send you the newsletter you signed up for, to respond to questions you submit via the contact form, and to identify which companies visit our website to improve our marketing and sales efforts. We do not use your data for any purpose other than what you signed up for or what is stated above.
The legal basis for our processing
For the newsletter, we explicitly ask for your consent upon registration. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
For company-level website tracking, we rely on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Who processes your data
• BerserkerMail, for sending the newsletter
• Make, to automatically forward your registration to BerserkerMail
• Webflow, as the hosting platform for this website and the contact form
• Clay, for recognizing visiting companies on our website
We do not share your data with other parties for marketing purposes.
How long we store your data
We store your data as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. If you unsubscribe, we will remove your data from our mailing system.
Unsubscribing and withdrawing consent
Every newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe directly by sending an email to barrie@jetpacked.io.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, and delete your data, as well as the right to object to its processing. Please contact us at barrie@jetpacked.io for this purpose. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Website tracking (company recognition)
Our website uses a tracking script from Clay that recognizes visiting companies based on their IP address and browsing behavior on our site (which pages, how long). This identifies the company behind a visit, not the individual person. We use this to determine which companies might be interested in our services, so our sales team can follow up in a targeted manner.
